Cruising Louisiana: A New World of Trucks Event is Here!

Mark your calendars! On Thursday, December 4th, celebrate the release of the Louisiana DLC with a brand-new World of Trucks event: Cruising Louisiana. Immerse yourself in the rich culture, soulful music, and deep-rooted history of the Pelican State.

The Community Challenge

The Cruising Louisiana event challenges the #BestCommunityEver to achieve a collective goal of driving 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) while delivering cargo to or from any city within the new Louisiana DLC.

During your #CruisingLouisiana journey, traverse lush landscapes, winding bayous, and historic highways. From the vibrant streets of New Orleans to the industrial hub of Baton Rouge, test your driving skills in one of America’s most culturally rich states.

Discover the Pelican State

As you travel through the Deep South, you’ll encounter iconic locations that define Louisiana. A few must-see highlights include:

• Lake Pontchartrain Causeway: The world’s longest continuous bridge over water.
• Avery Island: The legendary birthplace of world-famous hot sauce.
• Port Fourchon: A key hub for offshore oil operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Oak Alley Plantation: A beautifully preserved historic landmark on the Mississippi River.

How to Participate and Earn Rewards

The event features both personal and community goals with unique rewards. The Louisiana DLC offers 11 cities to explore, and you can use your own trailer via the External Market to participate.

Personal Goal

Complete deliveries to or from 10 different cities in Louisiana. All event jobs must be at least 100 miles (161 km) in length.

Personal Reward: A World of Trucks Achievement and the exclusive “Southern Wings” paint job for your truck.

Community Goal

The entire community must drive 125 million miles while delivering cargo to or from any Louisiana city.

Community Reward: The elegant “Golden South” hanging cabin ornament. To qualify, you must also complete your personal goal.

Event Rules Summary

• Use External Contracts or External Market with a World of Trucks-connected ATS profile.
• All jobs must be at least 100 miles (161 km) in length.
• Track your progress in your World of Trucks Log Book.
• The Cruising Louisiana event concludes on Sunday, February 8th, at 23:59 UTC.

Rewards are Steam inventory items for American Truck Simulator. Claim them from the Events page on your World of Trucks profile after completion.
