Driving Academy: Double Trailer Handling
This update introduces a new Driving Academy module: Double Trailer Handling. The module provides hands-on training for operating trucks with two trailers, commonly known as “doubles.”
A series of challenging scenarios guide players through forward driving, manoeuvring, and reversing with double trailers. The training is split into three progressive chapters.
Completing all scenarios rewards players with a unique cabin accessory: a “Frankie” wiener dog toy. This reward is tied to the in-game profile used.
Based on player feedback, the “Nerd of the Road” achievement in the Truck Driving Proficiency module has been adjusted. It now requires three stars in only 15 scenarios instead of 23.

Renault Trucks T Evolution
The Renault Trucks T receives a major update with two new interiors (Anthracite and Carbon 2024), featuring a digital dashboard and camera mirrors. Two new DE13 Turbo Compound engines are now available: the 440 hp and 480 hp Euro 6e variants.
Visually, the truck gains two new Smart Racer paint jobs and facelifted exterior parts. These include nine new front grilles, updated badges, and THE BOSS roof grilles, which can now be painted any colour.
Scania R & S Customization Expansion
The Scania R and S models receive new customization options in the base game and the Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack.
Front bumpers now come in three sizes and colours. Bumper lights have been separated, and new fog lights added for greater customization freedom. New roof lights, front fenders with radars, and underlit front logos complete the package.
IVECO S-Way Chassis Addition
The IVECO S-Way is expanded with a new 6×2 chassis featuring a steerable and liftable middle axle. This provides greater configuration flexibility for drivers. The truck model has also received general bug fixes and optimizations.

Vehicle Physics & Behaviour Update
A fundamental physics simulation rework is a cornerstone of the 1.58 update. Throttle response is now calculated from a torque map, making coasting and acceleration feel more natural. Wheels now properly camber off-road and incorporate caster when turning.
A new optional double-tap throttle control helps keyboard users. The engine also revs slightly before pulling away, aided by a new hill start assistant. Turbocharger audio has been refined for better feedback.
Complete UI Modernization
The update brings a comprehensive user interface redesign focused on flexibility and clarity.
New Tutorial & Hints: A redesigned tutorial uses a contextual hint system. It introduces game mechanics organically during gameplay.
Route Advisor Redesign: The old Route Advisor is replaced by a new widget-based system. Players can customize their on-screen information with movable, resizable widgets.
Quick Info Feature: The Pause Screen is reworked into a “Quick Info” hub. It centralizes key data like job details, truck status, controls, and local regulations.
Configurator & Management Screens: The Truck Configurator and management screens (Driver, Garage, etc.) receive usability improvements. These include better navigation, hints, and controller support.
Map Preparations for Future Content
In preparation for the upcoming Coaches DLC, the game map has been adjusted. Players will notice new bus signs, road markings, and newly added bus stations and terminals in selected cities.
