Cruising Nordic Horizons Event: A Record-Breaking Community Journey
The Cruising Nordic Horizons event results are officially in. The team at SCS Software thanks all 113,728 truckers who participated in this two-month World of Trucks adventure. Let’s review how the community conquered the ambitious goals.
A special thank you goes to the dedicated team behind this event. Their hard work made this journey possible for the #BestCommunityEver.
Event Goals: Community and Personal Challenges
As with every new map expansion, a World of Trucks event launched with the Nordic Horizons DLC. The community goal was to drive a combined 300,000,000 kilometres delivering cargo to or from any city in the expansion.
The personal challenge required drivers to complete 18 contracts. These deliveries needed to connect six unique cities in each Nordic country: Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Smashing the Goals: Incredible Community Results
The community didn’t just meet these goals—it absolutely smashed them. The combined distance goal was reached in less than two weeks. By the event’s end, the total distance driven more than doubled.
Drivers logged an incredible 702,446,695 kilometres. That’s a monumental achievement showcasing the scale and dedication of the player base.
Rewards for the Dedicated Drivers
Meanwhile, 57,397 truckers successfully completed the personal challenge. These drivers have now unlocked the full reward set:
- The Northern Tides custom paint job for their truck.
- The Viking Helmet dashboard accessory.
- A special World of Trucks achievement.
Now, drivers can truck through the far north in style with their hard-earned thematic rewards.

The Journey Continues
Even for those who didn’t complete the personal challenge, the journey matters most. The team hopes all drivers had fun hauling across the stunning Nordic Horizons landscapes. That adventure through the expansion is its own reward.
