This beta contains a huge set of new features and improvements. Let’s explore what’s new.

    Route 66 Rework Project

Update 1.58 introduces the Route 66 Rework Project. Our team has refreshed this legendary highway and its surrounding areas. This release focuses on Northern Arizona and parts of New Mexico.

The rework updates sections that no longer match our current mapping standards. It includes a completely rebuilt stretch of I-40 and Historic Route 66.

    Updated Cities and New Additions

Many cities in Northern Arizona have been completely rebuilt. These include Kingman, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon Village, Page, Kayenta, Camp Verde, and Show Low.

A brand-new city joins the map: Lake Havasu City. It is located on AZ-95 along the Colorado River. This city is famous for the London Bridge, which was relocated from England in 1971. Players can now drive across this iconic landmark.

The city of Holbrook is replaced by Winslow. In New Mexico, Gallup, Albuquerque, and Tucumcari have also been fully reworked. Famous landmarks like the Hoover Dam and Monument Valley received visual updates too.

    Driving Academy: Double Trailer Handling

A new Driving Academy module is here. The Double Trailer Handling module teaches players how to drive trucks with two trailers.

The training is split into three chapters. It starts with forward-driving maneuvers. Then it moves to reversing techniques. Finally, real-world scenarios test your new skills.

Complete all scenarios to earn a cabin accessory: a dachshund toy named Frankie. We also adjusted an achievement in the Truck Driving Proficiency module. “Nerd of the Road” now requires three stars in 15 scenarios instead of 23.

    New Truck Garages

All three garage sizes received a complete visual rework. The goal was to modernize these essential spaces. The new garages feature updated interiors, improved lighting, and new details.

    • New double-tap throttle control for keyboard users (optional).
    • Improved suspension behavior with wheel camber and caster.
    • Updated road collision geometry in ATS for better stability.
    • Refined turbocharger sounds for more accurate audio feedback.
