Job Details Widget: New Feature Coming in 1.60 Update

With the upcoming 1.60 update, the team at SCS Software is continuing to refine the widget system. This applies to both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. The improvements are based on feedback gathered from the community. Following that, the team will introduce the Job Details Widget 1.60 update. Let’s see the changes that will be coming.

Job Details Widget 1.60: What It Does

Based on feedback from the #BestCommunityEver, the team designed a new widget. The Job Details Widget 1.60 will be introduced with this update. Its primary purpose is to enable a new, more immediate, and concise way of displaying relevant job information.

Current Design vs. New Widget

In the current design, job information is spread across multiple screens. Most of it is displayed as part of Quick Info. This currently shows the place of pickup and delivery, job income, cargo type and weight, the next rest stop, and remaining time to complete the job. The remaining time is also displayed under the GPS.

Once the new widget is added, players will be able to enable it through the Widget Options menu (F6). The widget will display key job information. This includes cargo type and weight, delivery location, job income (colour-highlighted), and the remaining time to complete the job. Players will have this information available immediately without needing to pause the game. The Job Details Widget 1.60 keeps drivers informed at a glance.

Changes to Job Time and Rest Stop Info

In addition, the remaining job time will no longer appear on the GPS. It will be shown exclusively in the Job Details Widget. The next rest stop information will be removed from the job details. It will only appear on the GPS. This change simplifies the display and reduces redundancy.

Refining the Widget System
